Notes:
I’ve found a bunch of small mushrooms coming up through moss around where some shrubs used to be. The mushrooms have a red pileus, yellow stipe, and they stain bluish-green. They look like little shiny berries when they are first coming up. I do not currently own a microscope and these pictures are of bad quality due to being taken by an old iPhone4 (only thing at my disposal at this time). My location is Northwest Arkansas, Ozark. I’m guessing it’s in the Boletus campestris group. I will have more information if the rest of them last long enough to mature.
Alternative Name(s): Boletus edulis group
