Observation 20551: Boletellus Murrill
When: 2009-04-24
No herbarium specimen

Notes: This specimen was at ground level but attached to a tree trunk and growing from a depression in the trunk. The cap was about 50mm wide. I thought this might be a Boletellus emodensis, as it was found in an Eucalyptus Forest and does fit one of my used references descriptions.. There seems to be several images in different references calling each Boeltellus emodensis. (cofusing)!! The specimen was about 15cm in height. I found an inmature specimen (of the same species, I think,) but will load it separately
