Cap: 9.5 cm – I recall a pinkish-peachy hue.

Recognized by sight: Not as much pink or orange tint (in the images…although Bill recalls such in his comment) as is often seen, but there is a felted bit loose from, but circling the upper bulb, which is something I look for in daucipes.

Seems like a fairly telling trait. My atkinsoniana proposal was based upon the small pyramidal warts on the cap.
