Observation 205693: Bolbitius titubans var. olivaceus (Gillet) Arnolds
When: 2015-05-29

Notes: Fruiting in bark mulch beneath Eastern white pine. The arboretum houses thousands of native and mostly non-native trees from around the globe. The only descriptions and images I have keyed to this pitted cap/deeply striate stemmed variation are from collections found in Australia. Perhaps same taxon?

Elevation: 1500ft.

Temp: Mid 80’s.

Heavy rain two days prior.
