Observation 205695: Agaricus bitorquis (Quél.) Sacc.

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Fruiting singularly in grass. I have found these torque’s fruiting alongside a red staining variety I have only keyed out as Agaricus bernardii. We will no doubt collect more and more samples as summer and Fall come along.

Elevation: 1500ft.

Temp: low 80’s.

Odor: slight almond, less pronounced than A.campestris or augustus.
