Recognized by sight: orangish non viscid roughly textured cap with sharp umbo and white flesh, pallid decurrent gills, stem paler color of cap, lower third white, downy white mycelium at base, milk that appears to be clear then whey like, very slowly and very mildly hot, not staining or staining slightly brown, specimens were dry, white spore deposit, in moss and hardwood duff by the side of a pathway

Recognized by sight: Orange mat cap with acute umbo, pinkish buff decurrent gills, white context, hollowing stem with white base and white mycelium, watery white latex which is slowly slightly hot, with moss in hardwood leaf duff (including beech, birch, ash)
