Observation 205776: Mycena overholtsii A.H. Sm. & Solheim
When: 2013-04-22

Notes: Collection kindly provided by Noah Siegel, brought in a half-dry state to OMS Mycocamp on May 3, 2013. I requested it to see if the peculiar tough/elastic gills in the mystery Mycena in Observation 130247 are common for Mycena overholtsii. It turned out that Noah’s overholtsii indeed had such gills, more or less. In any case, these gills could not be called fragile, which is what we have in the description.
