Collection location: Silver Fork road, Eldorado National Forest, California, USA [Click for map]
Growing with mixed conifers @ ~ 6100 ft.
Caps up to 5.3 cm across.
Spores ~ 8.8-10.2(11.0) X 4.9-6.0 microns, elongate(Qavg = 1.84) and moderately rough.
These did not appear to have a yellow band at the base of the stipe nor did they fluoresce under UV light, both inconsistent qualities according to my reference.
