Lycoperdon excipuliforme:
Bell-shaped fungi
Cluster of 9 found
Fungi are 4.5-8.5 cm in length and 1.8-4 cm in width
Billowy and soft like a marshmallow
White on sides, dark brown on top
Tiny holes on top (ostioles) ~5-7 on each
Edges on top fold over
Appear porous on outside, are porous on inside
No gills
Circular spores 4 micrometers all around
Appear to be rough (warted on outside)
