Growing on woody debris among leaf litter in mixed hardwood forest. Cap 2.2 cm diameter, slightly inrolled margin; decurrent gills; stem 5 cm. long X 3 mm. wide at apex with impressively long, tough white rhizomorphs attached to base. (see left side of first picture).
