Observation 206627: Gymnopus luxurians (Peck) Murrill

No herbarium specimen

Notes: The beginnings of what will surely be two large caespitose clusters fruiting in a substantial mass of mycelium in a wood-chip mulch bed under an old Forsythia bush.
These specimens have just popped up after two days of heavy rain. Please see photo captions for additional information.
