Many are attempting to fit NA fungi into Australia. DNA would prove most wrong, I suspect.

When I do nominate I find that I am usually wrong or out-voted. So I tend to suggest and wait and see. Just cautious these days.

I would say Cantharellus too, Ian.

I wish you had the strength of conviction to suggest it yourself, though. The blunt ridges are distictive. The cross-ridges suggest this may be trying to become something else.
