Notes: On ground in oak/beech/hickory forest.Fragile fruiting body. Cap 4 cm; stalk 12 cm; small ring 2 cm from apex; flesh white, soft, 2 mm thick with a 1 mm layer that looked jelly-like and gray-brown. Gills pale brown initially, later becoming brown; free; brown spores. No pronounced odor; did not taste.
