Notes: Growing on woody debris in mixed woods.
Caps up to 2.4 cm across and with a somewhat matted-hairy surface.
Spore print sparse but appeared to be white.
Spores not amyloid.
Few spores measured ~ 6-7 X 3-4 microns.
Most everything but the spore shape(only the immature ones looked more round)points to C. candidissimus.
