Observation 20810: Cladonia cristatella Tuck.
When: 2009-05-03
No herbarium specimen

Notes: Cladonia cristatella, up to two other species of Cladonia, and moss, all growing in a crack in a rotten railway tie. You never know what you’ll find in even the smallest and most unassuming microhabitat. Leave no crevice unexamined and no rock unturned!
