Observation 208338: Amanita Pers. sect. Amanita
When: 2015-06-30
No herbarium specimen

Notes: First appearance of species 34 on my property this year. In “Amanita Corner”, which is a bend in a path at the northwest corner. Small oaks, some white pine in the vicinity. Multiple amanita species observed over the years in this spot.

This represents my latest attempt to observe an example of a partial veil on this species. Several tiny buttons studied, with absolutely no evidence of a pv.

similar to what was discussed here obs 207978. Seen in 4th photo from the top of this obs 208338. I wonder if the persistently rainy conditions play a role? obs 208335 also appears to show similar deposits on the gill edges.
