These slime molds came out yesterday after two days of heavy rains (1100 hrs, 04 May 2009, Mushroom Observer Observation 20828).
This afternoon (1600 hrs, 05 May 2009) these orange-brown bodies remain at the scene of the action, with only two small clusters of the bright yellow streaming and agglutinating slime molds that were so striking yesterday.
