Herbarium specimen reported

Notes: Growing thickly under Sweet Gum and Oaks in a bottom area.

Cap – 1 – 2.5 inches across. Yellow-orange with a gray sheen toward the center. Edges rolled under, center depressed.

Stipe – thick, clumped in 2’s and 3’s, smooth, yellow-orange like cap, upper part has fertile surface, ridges barely detectable, whitens at base.
