This is a good way to learn mushroom IDs. Lots of experienced identifiers here at MO.

I think if you check the gill attachment carefully, with some magnification, you will find a very thin piece of the gill that attaches to the stipe (stalk). Sometimes, gills that are attached to the stipe pull away and appear to be free, another complicating factor.

Compare with obs 208341. I’m certain mine is an Inocybe. The spores are nodulose… spiked with nodes.
