The genetics of flavorubens seem to be somewhat complex according to unpublished

sequences from Dr. Hughes’ lab. The cap coloring can be very variable due to bruising (producing, red, wine, red-brown tints) and removal of pigment by rain (resulting in dilutions or complete removal of the yellow pigment).

That one has yellowish warts on a brown cap, I haven’t seen one with a bright yellow cap like this before. The blushers don’t have rings at the base of the stalk either. This is a strange one, to me.
