Notes:
Found growing in 1’s to 3’s in dirt of trail bank with mosses and Peltigera venosa. Caps about 3-4 cm wide, dry, no sign of having been viscid. Gills and spores pinkish brown. Thick layer of white tomentum at and near the base of the stipes.

Spores colorless, angular from all sides, 9-10 × 7-8.5 µm. Gill trama parallel. Pileipellis a cutis of mostly radiating hyphae, tinted strongly brown (as seen when mounted in water under LM).
