Notes: Based on cap color, though it is old. I found similar ones today in a different location with only Beech, no Oaks. Sorry I didn’t take a stipe reticulation picture. It was white mesh on a dark background. Pretty typical of the normal version of B. variipes though maybe a little bit less prominent.
