There are so many mushrooms out right now that I have only had a chance to give a quick glance at these. Made 100+ reports from yesterday. 14 Amanita species and counting. Ill see if I cant get to some spores of these tonight.

It seems that the partial veil is persistent in this case.

The original material of russuloides was reported to be exannulate. It would be interesting to know about the spores of the mushroom shown in these images. The distinctly yellow, gemmata-like species in eastern North America include taxa with nearly round spores, taxa with ellipsoid spores, and according to some reports, taxa with some elongate spores. It would be nice to know about the spores of this creature.

This is certainly a candidate for some DNA work also.
