It’s difficult/impossible to see on these photos. Photos are not bad for a mobile, but I didn’t have my camera on beach. But yes, there were some black tiny things in the small holes, just to register, thanks.

Collemopsidium is a minute black peritheciate crust which grows on barnacles. Did you observe perithecia among the barnacles in these photos? They’re gorgeous photos, but from this distance we don’t stand a chance of actually seeing the species this observation is about! :)
