Observation 209847: Amanita “sp-S01” Tulloss

Notes: Light yellow cap with sparse, thick white warts, slightly viscid when young, striate about 20% into the disk. weak membranous annulus, scaly stipe, bulb slightly turnip shaped with vertical splits, volva as a “cogwheel” lip. Largest cap in the photo is about 1 1/4" diameter. Mixed forest with oak, pine, hemlock
