a small version of A. porphyria, except there’s no gray on the annulus or stipe, and the stipe lacks ornamentation.

I needed to excavate the base of the mushroom, so it’s possible there was an obstruction. But I don’t specifically remember.

Same couple of square yards as where obs 208336 was found.

Specimen has been preserved.

I never saw a bulb shape like that on solaniolens.

I think this is solaniolens, but what was happening was there a root or pebble in the way of the bulb’s normal expansion?
