I think 110-115 F is a good range for keeping DNA intact and getting the material dried in a reasonable amount of time.

I haven’t seen much sensibilis, if any, on MO lately, and searching for it on this site surprisingly led to very few bona fide collections of this species (I think there are quite a few possible misidentifications). If it’s not too much trouble, you should preserve this one. Who knows, it might get used one day for a molecular study.
my phone camera has trouble with consistent white balance, but the colors in the first shot are true to life. The blue bruising on the cap flesh faded to white after about 30 minutes. I can preserve this specimen if you think it’s worth adding to my herbarium.
on the left surely looks like B. sensibilis (or whatever genus it might be in now – need to look for one of those IF/SF nomenclatural novelties by Vizzini & Co.). :-) You cannot get more bluing out of sensibilis than that! Note the characteristic color of the pore surface typically associated with mature specimens. The pic of the other specimen doesn’t provide enough info for a conclusive ID.
