Did this mushroom have a sack-like volva surrounding the bottom of the stem?

The relatively short marginal striations, orange cap, ringless stem, and pigmented stem decoration suggest a species in the A. crocea group within Amanita section Vaginatae. That would mean that there was a membranous, saccate, volva enclosing the stem base.
