Does not usually have the benzaldehyde odor.

Did it have the characteristic odor of the foetid Russua group, i.e. benzaldehyde/maraschino cherries? I see the cap cuticle is covered by a patchy whitish bloom, reminiscent of that of R. modesta; I don’t think it’s modesta though.
