I’ll keep that in mind for the next one. There is no illusion about the color—this is exactly how it looked. It had a blue-blue latex, like smurf blood, and turned greenish when I cooked it. Never any hint of purple or pink.

A little better gill shot is always appreciated, but I’d say that looks blue and not pink. So, not Lactarius paradoxus. Showing a little of the milk doesn’t hurt either.
