there is an old Favolus (probably), which is beginning to decompose “on the vine,” so to speak. is this for the Favolus or the thing eating it? If the former, there are surely less unidentifiably dead and disgusting fungi to be photographing out in the beautiful forests of Colombia. If the latter, there is no reason to call it anything but “a mold” (“Deuteromycota”, “__Hyphomycetes”__) without microscopy.
