Observation 21034: Coprinopsis variegata (Peck) Redhead, Vilgalys & Moncalvo

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found growing on a very moss covered hardwood log. Judging from the color of the wood possibly red oak. spore print is a blackish brown? but more to the black side of things. found May 12th from what i herd not suppose to be around until June.
