Notes: Growing in burned pits that were used to turn hardwood trees into charcoal. Not far from large Quercus trees.

Odor mild.

Spores 7.5 – 9.1 × 3.8 – 4.7 micrometers, slightly amyloid, smooth, cylindrical.
