I took the pic back in march, I never flipped it over, but it did seemingly have little teeth.

Looks like some old Hydnellums I’ve seen, but I’d have to see the underside to be at all confident in that id.

PYCNOPORELLUS FULGENS if that does occur in Northern America and the find is from coniferous wood… just a guess … and BTW it seems a very old specimen to be …
