On decomposed wood, clusters of mycellium coated stipe bases were fused with mulch. Also growing from the ground nearby the wood. Some growing singly, some in small groups. Two small buttons show white veil remnants. About two hours passed between collecting and photgraphing; the hanging veil remnamts disappeared from the cap margins. Bluing together with tannish ground color produced splotches of greenish tint. Spore print purplish brown against black background and blackish against white. Spores mounted in KOH, some showing rhomboid profile. Gill picture shows too much blue tint on account of available lighting.
I think this may be the northern most report for this mushroom.
