They were growing on the same little hump of dirt,

were they, Ann? I have found Thelephora locally under Douglas-fir near Rooster Rock State Park, and at Paul Bishop’s Jones Creek Tree Farm abpit 5 miles south of Oregon City.

They were growing near each other, but they could definitely be different species!

would be a good match for Thelephora vialis. I have never seen the yellows in the 1st photo, though. Might be a different species, Ann.
