No, it’s not a range extension. We have it at southern part of Vancouver Island up to Winchelsea Island north of Nanaimo. This site is a watered lawn, where today it grow together with Amanita phalloides, Scleroderma sp.. and a small yellow Russula flava var. pacifica. In sites that depend on rain, it occurs only after heavier May/June rains, but we did not have any this year. Adolf
