only a few feet away from OBS 211590. I almost put the two different species into the same container, until I noticed the brown deposits on the cap of this one. Generally, I don’t encounter much confusion in separating Amidella from Vaginatae. But this was a job for Meltzers! Thanks to Igor for supplying me with some of this coveted stuff.
eastern North America. Now, with some random DNA sampling of my herbarium, I think there may be more than two. I haven’t concentrated on sect. Amidella for over twenty years. I hope to get back to them.
