why do so many sources, including the the encyclopedia of life, mushrooms demystrified and T. Volk site it as being in this country. Arora sites it as being the eastern version of grandis.

in addition, if concentrica is always on fraxinus, isnt there by now a delineation to the species on alder in the eastern united states. I notice about 7 species i am almost always guaranteed to find on in, including Taphrina, Exidia, Plicaturopsis crispa,etc.
