Observation 212207: Russula barlae

Closest to an Eastern red cedar, then Pitch Pine and Oak in vicinity.

-Cap: 7-9 cm
-Cuticle peels about 1/3
-Flesh stains slightly vinaceous (when sliced/insect holes).
-Smell not distinctive/ taste mild
-Gills discoloring blackish as they age
