Notes: FULIGO SEPTICA (L.) F.H. WIGG. PHYSACACEAE, PHYSARALES. (SCRAMBLED-EGG SLIME, ФУЛИДЖО ГНИЛОСТНЫЙ).

Yellow soft mass looks as soft foam; it turns into dry dark chocolate-brown uneven crust.

Mushroom: 1×2 up to 4×10cm in plan and 1-3cm high, oval convex mass; it looks as yellow foam with tiny bubbles when young and soft, and then it covers with irregular orange-brown crust. Finally mushroom turns into fragile and loose dark chocolate brown or purplish black mass.
Habitat: rare kind, single or small groups on rotten stumps or trunks of deciduous wood.
Edibility: no data
Season: June-August.
