I was up there hoping to find King Boletes, but they are few weeks later than they were last year. This little guy was a neat find though, a new one for me. The blue in the last photo is an artifact from the lighting – still a pretty mushroom nonetheless.

is strikingly beautiful, Dan. I’ve never witnessed the varied colors present in this species before. The last photo has blue tones, as well. Great job!
