I don’t recall tasting this, and I don’t recall any unusual odor. I may simply have forgotten to check these things. Also, it would have been good to see how far the cuticle peeled. So I don’t expect to get beyond “could be” for this one. Thanks for running it through the FK key.
I’ve not found R. redolens yet but the color, size and forking gills of this obs fits according to the Kibby/ Fatto key. How about odor and taste? They describe it as smelling strongly of celery or parsley with a mild to disagreeable taste and an aftertaste of parsley.
