Observation 212974: Amanita ravenelii (Berk. & M.A. Curt.) Sacc.

> A single specimen in so-so shape collected (not by me) at the NJMA foray.
> The bulb has damage — probably wasn’t collected in its entirety.
> I think I smelled a chlorine odor early on, but now it smells like old ham/decaying protein (pretty disgusting).
> The gills are crowded and colored deep yellowish-cream.
> The specimen didn’t drop spores.
