Notes: Ganoderma ravenelii originally described by R.L. Steyaert. Distinguished from Ganoderma curtisii by its lack of resinous or "melanoid"bands in its context and by its elongated spores which bear a resemblance to the spores of G.zonatum.

This specimen matches that description.
