As if the diversity in the genus Rhizocarpon of this location was not yet well illustrated, I would like to present some neither fertile nor isidiate/sorediate specimens. The one shown here is a green one whose main feature are the strongly convex (almost balls) areolas , seeming sorediate with grey-green soredia.
Growing on siliceous rock.
