Notes: This was found on a large mossy boulders with other species of peltigeras

Recognized by sight: The undersides of the apothecia having discontinuous patches of cortex is characteristic Of Peltigera leucophlebia

Recognized by sight: I think you can see the lack of veins in the fourth photo, and as it turns out these margins are not considered “crisped”… at least not relative to P. leucophlebia. Also, these really show Trevor’s “silver lining” perfectly. (Even he was impressed. :)
