A solitary fruiting in lawn under mature Pin Oak. Cap: 4 cm., finely rimose toward margin. Stem 5.2 cm. X 1 cm. Yellowish mycelium at base. Flesh: solid yellow, turning blue-green then blackish instantly when cut. KOH yellow on cap. Spore print olive-brown.
