This is a young Ganoderma. Google, and you shall find ;-)

Ganodermas are conks. This is a terrestrial, club-shaped fungus. The closest match in my Lincoff is Cordyceps melolonthae, but it’s not exact. It certainly looks likelier to me than Ganoderma.
