Magic words! This is still the only one I’ve ever seen. So now Cetraria islandica moves up to become “the arctic lichen I most want to see.” Excellent photo of that you posted recently!! I have a chance to find it at the top of Mt. Leconte in the Smokies, and again at the top of Mont-Jaques-Cartier in Quebec in August. You can bet Ill be focused!
